<p><strong>Terminologies</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bid- the maximum amount you are prepared to pay for an item in eBay.</li>
<li>Dutch- an auction where more than one of an item is available.</li>
<li>Feedback- comments left by users on eBay.</li>
<li>Mint- in perfect condition.</li>
<li>Non-paying bidder- A bidder who wins an auction but does not proceed to buy the item.</li>
<li>PayPal- an electronic payment , method accepted and used by most sellers and buyers in eBay.</li>
<li>Rare- used and abused on eBay; meaningless.</li>
<li>Reserve- the minimum price a seller will accept for an item.</li>
<li>Shill bid- a fake bid placed by a potential seller to boost up an auction&#8217;s price.</li>
<li>Snail Mail- post mail; very slow compared to emails.</li>
<li>Sniping- bidding at the last second to win the item before anyone else outbids you.</li>

<li>AUD- Australian Dollar (currency)</li>
<li>BIN- Buy it now ( fixed price )</li>
<li>BNWT- Brand new with tags (never been used, original tags)</li>
<li>BW- Black and white ( for films and photos)</li>
<li>CONUS- Continental US; generally used by sellers who don&#8217;t want to post in Hawaii or Alaska</li>
<li>EUR- Euro (currency)</li>
<li>FC- First class, type of postage</li>
<li>GBP- Great British Pounds. (currency)</li>
<li>HTF- Hard to Find</li>
<li>NIB- New in Box; never opened, original box</li>
<li>NR- No reserve. An item where the seller has not set a reserve price</li>
<li>OB- Original Box. Might have neen opened but still in original box</li>
<li>PM- Priority Mail</li>
<li>PP- Parcel Post</li>
<li>SH- Shipping and Handling. The fees a buyer will pay for postage</li>
<li>USD- United States Dollar (currency)</li>
<li>VGC- Very Good Condition. Not mint though</li>
</ul>
<p>Here&#8217;s a tip, though to make a good sales on eBay. Avoid using the abbreviations unless you really run out of space because many people are still not familiar with ebay lingo and they might end up confused instaead of interested.</p>
