Garage Sale on eBay

Saturday, March 28th, 2009

When I realized that I have lots of stuff that I think I didn’t really need. I was wondering how I will be able to get rid of them.  Aside from my own stuffs, I inherited a lot of my grandparents stuff. Some of it were really old, quirky, collector’s stuff.

It came into my mind to sell those stuff on eBay. When I first started to sell things on eBay, it was just an great idea to get rid of some of my excess possessions that I really don’t need. It was the quickest way to liquidate those stuffs.

The main reason to sell my stuff on eBay is to get rid of the old things that are no longer useful for me but what surprised me was the amount of money I got when they were sold. Most specially the stuff from my grandparents. There were collectors of every items who bid up the value of several pieces and the price was really good.

There are two kinds of ebay sellers. The casual ones and the professionals. The casual sellers tend to post something once in a while, while the professional seller owns a storefront. A storefront gives you recognizability and makes your buyers associate your products with you.

It was not too long before i was able to earn hundreds of dollars of profit a week. But it was not quite easy to sell things on ebay. I had to invest and it took for a while to get the business rolling.

So if you have stuffs you wanted to get rid of, sell it on eBay and you too will be surprise of the amount of money you will get.

Have you ever heard of making thousands of dollars thru eBay?

What are power sellers? how can you become one? eBay requires a seller $1000 sales per month to become a Power seller. For you to become a Silver Power seller, you have to make at least $3000 a month, for Gold $10,000 and for Platinum $25,000. The highest is Titanium Power seller wherein you have to make at least $150,000 in sales a moth.

It is very interesting to know how these top sellers started out. but in reality, some of them just sold a few items in eBay then the rest is history.

There’s no need to quit your job. you can opt for Ebay as your second income source. To do this, you just have to porperly manage your time. Pack items during weekdays, go to the post office every Saturday for delivery.

The good thing about eBay is it doesn’t matter who you are, your age, where you are from or what you look like. No job interviews and hectic meetings. Important thing is you can upload your tem and post them on eBay and you’re good to go.

If you want to try selling on ebay, find stuff around your house that you have never used  and post them in the net. Who knows, your unwanted stuff may be interesting to others plus you can make money out of it.
